even health workers who have been staying to treat the patient used to
have in high risk of various infection.
According to the Public Health Laboratory during the time of testing few
health problems including influenza, swine flu, scrub typhus, viral
infection, even the lab health workers themselves used to be in high
risk of being the infected.

It may be surprising to hear that even the health workers and lab
technician sitting there for the lab test of the patient’s blood,
sputum, urine themselves used to be sick by being in the high risk of
infection.

According to Dr. Gita Shakya, Director of the Public Health Laboratory
in the previous year, due to the infection of swine flu one health
workers of laboratory was infected. Health workers that used to work in
laboratory have been facing a high risk of such different infections.

In the international countries, there used to be organized lab according
to the safety of health workers and the lad used to be designed focusing
on the sanitation and health of the health workers that are working in
laboratory but in Nepal, Nepalese lab made for different test are
harmful and unsafe for the lab health workers. So that too, the health
of those health workers working in laboratory seem to be at high risk.

In some situation, health workers that work in laboratory have been
facing various infections even though they have been using special
mechanism. Even in such cases, the government has not been paying
attention though the health workers health is in great risk.
