The Prime Minister was welcomed home by Speaker Onsari Gharti, Deputy Prime Ministers duo Bimalendra Nidhi and Krishna Bahadur Mahara, ministers, heads of constitutional and security bodies and high officials.On the occasion, a contingent of the Nepal Army had presented a guard of honour in the PM’s respect.He had left for New Delhi on Thursday.
During his Delhi sojourn, Dahal had held meetings with Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, PM Narendra Modi and other Cabinet members and political leaders.Besides formal engagements in the Capital, the Nepali delegation had visited the Nathpa Jhakri Hydropower Project in Himachal Pradesh on Saturday.
